I want to thank everyone for your comments; when I first saw this reflection I was awestruck and excited to capture it with my camera. I didn't even see any other buildings until I had taken a few shots. I should have gone with my gut feeling on the crop but I did want everyone's opinion too so I expanded the cropping to include a reference point. Thanks again. |

Very imaginative! Is it possible to add some skid marks behind the car? I noticed you had the shadows under the chickens; however, they aren't matching any of the shadows in the photo. This did make me smile. I'm sure the chickens are happy to be alive. |

Oliver, you could have a lot of fun with this image. What if you removed all the mailboxes with the exception of the rusty one on the far right? Maybe leaving the empty post on the left. With all four mailboxes it stops the eye from moving on to the house. Darken the sky and grass to make it look more ominous. A member of our club turned a shot much like this one into a night shot with lights on in the house and a rusty truck sitting in the yard. Have fun experimenting. |

I grew up in Denver so I remember the snow and the cold; your photo brings back so of those memories (I don't miss the snow and cold). I agree with Oliver; however, there is one thing that bothers me. The child looks to be taking a step forward but I don't see the leg going forward. |

Thanks Oliver, I thought about cropping it like this but I didn't know who it would go over. The question in my mind, does the viewer need to have a reference point? Like another building? I like your crop but I still have the same question. Hope to hear from others. |
