This is so much better. I believe you have toned down the stems as well as removed the distracting leaves. |

Thank you for your comment Richard; unfortunately this was a scanned black and white negative. Because of a lack of color information, PS did not allow me to make too many changes. Perhaps it's due to my limited knowledge of PS, if you could suggest a tool which does not rely on color information I could make some improvements. |

This is just an outstanding composition and very creative; all elements of this photo come together perfectly. However, like Barbara I am curious about what lies beneath the crack in the egg. I am not seeing something that would be inviting to a bird but I am at a loss at suggesting anything better. I am a little disturbed by some little black flecks that are scattered about in the clouds. All in all this is a super photo and inspirationally creative. |

This is a great photo Oliver. The detail and the texture of the flower are wonderful; I also like the color contrast. I do agree with Barbara about getting rid of the leaves as they are too much of a distraction. |

Barbara,
This is an excellent photograph. It is sharp and has great color contrasts and you're right about the swirls that surround him. I only wish he was swimming towards me rather than away. |
