5 Oct 17 Comment Thanks to everyone for your comments, Dave and Oliver I see the improvement; I'm going to print each one up to see which one I like the better. Oct 31st
5 Oct 17 Comment Excellent composite! As Oliver has pointed out the placement of you and the dog look real. Can you do the same thing using 65/66 Mustang coming off one of the hilly streets in San Francisco? Oct 13th
5 Oct 17 Comment Two excellent photographs, but like Barbara I do prefer the original. In your conversion to B&W you have lost some great texture in the roof of the cabin as well as the rocks supporting the cabin. The yellow foliage of the trees have become burned out and a bit distracting. I do feel you are on the right track because old wooden structures do lend themselves to B&W which will highlight the texture of the wood. Oct 13th
5 Oct 17 Comment I agree with both of you, the filters that are coming out add a whole new dimension to photography. I've always liked art but I couldn't draw so I let the camera do the drawing for me; now with these filters I can create art too.
Oliver your second posting of the butterfly is much better; there is less distraction and more of a focus on your main subject.

5 Oct 17 Comment Once again you shown your mastery of photography and post processing. I agree with Barbara and Oliver but have two things to add; the bright sky and trees outside are somewhat of a distraction as is the person just outside the Abbey. I tried to tone down the sky and trees and removed the extra person. I only wish you had a tutorial so that those of us who have tried and failed can learn how to do it right. Oct 13th
5 Oct 17 Comment Barbara, I like how you converted your yellow rose into a B&W; however, I do agree with Oliver's observations. I took a stab at trying to lighten it up without losing the texture in the petals using NIK's Silver Efex Pro. Oct 13th
