Phil, I really liked the swoop of the Ferris wheel leading to the bottom gondola; however, the building on the right side bothers me. I took the liberty of cropping that building out. Also, I used NIK's Viveza 2 to tone down the brightness of the clouds around the gondola while at the same time I brightened the gondola. Let me know what your thoughts are. |

David, once again you have taken an image that many photographers would have dismissed; however, you have created an image that exudes peacefulness. A moment in time when one can escape the day's activities via the pages of a book. Wonderful job toning down the harsh lighting on your subject. You've also kept the BG detail but so well muted that it doesn't compete with your subject. Well done. |

Thanks everyone for your comments, I used Topaz ReMask 5 to select the Iguana then blurred the BG with PS's field blur. NIK's Color Efex Pro - detail extractor has enhanced the overall image. I've hovered over the head of the iguana (in a raw image) using LR's HSL tool which indicates blue is the primary color; therefore, what is shown in this image is the coloration of the iguana but just enhanced. |

Very clever Nick. I thought maybe you could add a picture of a little baby sitting on the floor just below the giraffe's head and looking up. May I suggest reducing the size of the windup key a little; it just seems a little too large in relation to the giraffe. Love your creativity. |

I agree with Oliver's observation, you have created a delicate piece of silver jewelry with a lot detail and texture. |

Excellent shot Oliver, it expresses a lot warm feelings. Toning down the bright spot as Barbara suggested has really enhanced your image. |

Barbara, beautiful shot; love the soft muted colors. However, I do agree with Olive's observation of the edges, very distracting to an otherwise perfect still life. |
