This certainly catches one's eye. Your model seems a little disproportionate to the car. I'm curious to know what your set up was; what was the lens you used and how many images were used to put your finished photo together. Altogether, nice job, I'm a guy myself, not that I have a collection of cars but I have a collection of car photos. |

I agree with everyone's comment about the BG, perhaps a sepia tone rather than the blue tint that might lend itself to vintage feeling. I do like what Oliver did to your image. I keep wondering what happened to this vehicle that ended here. |

David, you are a true artist! I have visited your website and I'm in awe of accomplishments. You have captured a story in scenes that most photographers wouldn't even see. This month's submission is no different, most photographers wouldn't have taken the shot. It would be an experience to follow your work flow from the field to the computer. |

Oliver, my eye keeps looking beyond the gate. Here's an open gate with no path leading to or from it. What's beyond this gate? I keep looking for an object in the woods that would entice me to investigate further.
This images exudes peacefulness, in my mind’s eye I can smell the fresh air of the and hear the birds singing. |

I agree with Oliver, the cropping and the post processing techniques really helped this image. Since you already have a black BG it might be fun to remove it and slip in another BG, say a blurred image of the streets of Paris. Just a thought. |

Thanks Barbara and Oliver for your comments; this was taken in Vietnam at the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh. At the time we were visiting the doors were closed and no one was allowed to go any closer than the street in front of the mausoleum. |
