Thanks David, I'm guess the haloing is due to over processing. I did some experimenting after watching something on the internet. I don’t think I will try anything quite so radical in the future. |

Thanks Nick, I agree with the red eyes and border. Truth be told, I wasn't very happy with it after it got posted; I'll try your suggestions to see how it turns out. |

John, I really like your image but I agree with Barbara about the BG; however, Topaz simplify took out some of the detail in the herons and created little black dots in parts of the nest. |

I like what you done with the final image, one can think of a number of stories that could accompany this photo. You have created some drama out what otherwise could be just a mundane picture of a woman descending down a staircase. Great use of lines and lighting. |

I like how you cropped your picture; I agree with Joyce about burning in the leaves that surround the red flower. Red is so hard in which to get detail; I see some haloing on the near red leaves, do you know why that is happening? |
