76 Aug 25 Comment Birds are very difficult subjects IMO. Agree with comments on the presence of palm fronds. While they are a part of the bird's nest, they tend to distract from the beauty of the egret. Sanford's suggestions may be worth a try. I'd like to see the bird framed by the arch above and the fronds behind it distorted to focus on the subject. Your capture of the material in the bird's mouth is wonderful. Aug 21st
76 Aug 25 Comment Gordon, Jay's and Harriette's words are perfect. I have nothing to add to make them spot on. Seascapes are one of my favorite subjects and yours is calming while keeping movement apparent. Agree with Ian on cropping of the small rock. Aug 21st
