Erin,
One of the challenges when taking pictures of machines or devices is which parts or sections to include or omit. Although I can't see the entire device, I think your choice for the composition is appealing. I like the diagonal orientation/lines which are intermixed with the long thread and screws. The handle and thread make me wonder what the purpose of this machine was. The original lends itself to a b/w treatment although I too like the color and rust of the original. I think it is a pleasing image and don't have any suggestions for change, other than I might go with the original. |

Karen,
This is a pleasing landscape image to my eye. You're right - the sky in the original is bland so adding a few high clouds adds interest and doesn't look unnatural. I like the leading line of the road and the golden colors are certainly a reminder of fall. |

Diana,
This is a good composition. The containers on the chest are balanced but different in shape and size. The window is lighted but not overpowering in brightness. And there is lots of texture in this image - the rough siding, the cloth window covering, and the wood grain on the cabinet. I too like both versions and don't really have a preference between them. |

Mervyn,
I didn't use dehaze but I get what you are saying. The background in the edited version does look a bit "flat" to me too but I like that the detail in the Raccoon is much better. Maybe a combination of both. |

Pierre,
As you know the ass-end is usually not the most becoming perspective but this image is redeemed by the look-back of the buck. The antlers have some interesting detail. I might crop in a bit on the left side. |

Thanks Cindy. The nice thing about the phone camera is that you nearly always have it with you. |

Mervyn,
Lovely capture of these two young lion siblings (?). I might darken the background a bit to provide more attention to the foreground subjects. |

Jawant,
I too like the tonality treatment you selected. It seems appropriate for these two vultures and does reduce the distractions in the background. |

Jacob,
Your patience paid off. You got a unobscured full face image with the body nicely within the foliage. The crop is good too. Nice work. |

Cindy,
Nice profile shot of this eagle. I think you have enought sharpness to crop in some more. |
