Rita,
This is an interesting capture of a New Orleans street scene. I like the crop and think this image works well as a b/w. I might darken the background building a bit to place more emphasis on the subject(s). |

Erin,
This image does take a bit of explanation but once it is understood it does make me wonder about the probably painful encounter between the bird and cactus. |

Kyle,
The big white Pelicans are quite majestic in flight. I like this image of the pair being active in the water. If you cropped the image, it is a well selected crop to focus on the birds but also include some of the ripples in the water. |

Thanks Rita; I agree the foreground in particular could be lightened. |

Denny,
You captured the most important part (the eye and head) in good focus. Actually, all the bird looks to be in good focus with gradually blurring background of desert cactus. |

Anne,
This is a lovely sports/action image. You caught the horse and rider at a dynamic point - I like the dust and the hat on the ground. The background is a bit busy but in this case I think it adds to the rodeo environment. The only thing I might do is remove the half people on the right and left in the background; see attached. |

Yes, I think lightening up the dark area on the bottom would be an improvement. |

Thanks Jacob. Including the sun in any photo often does overpower everything else. I tried to include just a bit so it was not so bright. |
