I like this swampy landscape image with the reflections, trees, and greens. Your crop and edits improved the image. I like that my eye is drawn into the interior this image. I might put a linear gradient on the upper section of this image to darken the sky just a bit.		 May 14th

60 May 25 Reply Mostly the blah overcast mid-day sky which is not a positive for the color version but works well in BW because of the tonality and contrast. May 8th

I like star trail images. Mt. Adams makes a great background for these star trails and meteor. The small area of water and the plants in the very close foreground could be cropped out to provide more visual focus on the mountain and star trails.		 May 8th

This is an excellent bird photo-large bird in flight, crisp exposure, and the bird is engaged in an activity. A very nice nature image.		 May 7th

I like the lines, arches, soft colors, patterns, perspective, and lighting of this architectural composition. Cropping in on the foreground improved the image. I might crop a bit from the left to remove most of the modern building in the background. 		May 7th

Wooden boats are one of my many interests and Nova Scotia has a long history of building working wooden boats. I also hate to see them exposed and unused but that happens.
This was an excellent choice for BW. The setting reveals the rugged and hard nature of this seacoast and the houses in the background provide context to the people and culture.
If it was possible, the composition might have been improved if the house on the right wasn't truncated but maybe the tight grouping of homes made that difficult. I think the boat itself would make a good subject.		 May 7th
