60 Mar 25 Reply Thanks; more of a test shot than anything. Mar 10th
60 Mar 25 Reply Or remove the boat. Normally I like foreground in a landscape type image but not sure about keeping the boat in. Mar 8th
60 Mar 25 Comment Rita,
I like the pano version of this. So I would crop in from top and bottom but not much left to right. See attached.

60 Mar 25 Comment Diana,
I had to study this image for a while to take in all the detail. I like the frame the window mullions provide although I might crop in from the left side a bit to eliminate those little appendages. The mullions provide a three level separation of the image with the middle containing the primary interest and detail and the bottom and top being sky and ground. I think there is another picture within this image of just the middle frame.

60 Mar 25 Comment Erin,
I like your crop and the image itself. It is a complex visual image but still holds together because of the tree structure. I think this image would lend itself to making it high contrast (see attached for a possibility).

60 Mar 25 Comment Anne,
I like it when you can capture these spherical drops of hanging water. The soft background and vibrant color are lovely. Nice work.

69 Mar 25 Reply Yes, I have a couple of flash units but rarely use them. Would work for fill in flash. Mar 14th

69 Mar 25 Comment Jaswant,
I like this framing; good to get close sometimes. It emphasizes the skin texture and the eye of this great animal. And the b/w conversion works well.

69 Mar 25 Comment Cindy,
Nice catch of this action. Your edits were a considerable improvement. I like the drops caught falling with a faster shutter speed.

69 Mar 25 Comment Pierre,
Wow, you have a zoom that goes to 800 mm? It is a pleasant shot of these ducks in flight. The 1/1000 was sufficient to get clarity in the moving wings.

69 Mar 25 Comment Mervyn,
Agree with Jaswant; a bit more contrast. I really want to crop in on the baby and I messed around with several different crops but, in the end, I think your bigger view is best.
