Pierre,
I don't remember hearing anything. I can understand why native peoples would think that the aurora is spiritual. |

Mervyn,
Capturing all four moving forward together in a line makes a good composition. Each cub is distinct but clearly age related. Four cubs for one female seems like a large family? It must keep her busy trying to feed them. |

Pierre,
I like that the bird's gaze and the leading lines complement one another. It is often difficult to get a shot of these small birds in the tree without interference from foreground branches and leaves but you managed to get a nice window. |

Jaswant,
It is always challenging to catch these small fast flyers in flight and I think just about impossible to get the wings without a bit of blur (without a strobe), which I find acceptable. I would crop down a bit from the top. |

Jacob,
It sounds like you are getting to be a PS master. The edited image certainly is an improvement from the original. Nice work. |

I definitely like the color palate of this image - soft yellows, orange, and touches of green. It all goes together well. I think the vertical crop is good too although I might take a bit more off the top. Were you using a tripod with this big and heavy lens? |
