60 Sep 24 Reply Thanks Rita. I think that large circular area behind the eye is for hearing -the tympanic membrane. Sep 25th
60 Sep 24 Comment Anne,
I like the horizontal and vertical architecture, the subtle contrast of lights and darks and texture, and the reflections. I am not sure if I consider the truncated greenery in the lower left a plus or distraction. I cropped it out and did some light painting to increase the shadows and light areas in the attached image. It is not a dramatic improvement but may have a bit more focus.

60 Sep 24 Comment Rita,
I think this is a pleasing monochrome image. I like the layers of cloudy sky, mountains, homestead, and foreground. I think it is much more interesting than the color original. You may have the contrast dialed up a bit too high in the mountains because some of the whites have little detail remaining. Plus, the original image is a bit overexposed. I did some editing in LR; most turned down the whites and highlights in the color version and then converted. See attached.

69 Sep 24 Comment Jacob, I think the crop is good and the image clear and sharp. I like the colorful bloom and the adjustments you made in post. Sep 22nd
69 Sep 24 Comment Yep, agreed. Include the tail. Otherwise a timely and colorful image. Sep 22nd

69 Sep 24 Reply Cindy, I like my A7RV well. I upgraded from the A7RIV, which was an incremental upgrade. I can't really contrast my camera to other Sony models because this is the only one I own. I know it is an excellent camera for most things (particularly landscapes) although there may be other models better suited to sports/action photography or video. As always, I would read and read the reviews. Sep 22nd
69 Sep 24 Comment I don't remember the original either. In any case, I too like the bird in flight moving toward the hyenas. Sep 10th
69 Sep 24 Comment Diane,
Interesting animals which live in a very narrow ecological niche. In any case, you might crop in more to place more emphasis on the Koala itself and not the branch.

69 Sep 24 Comment Jaswant,
A timely image. The feature that most catches my interest in the small plant that appears to be growing in the shell. If this tortoise lives a long time, I wonder if that tortoise will become a mobile tree.

69 Sep 24 Reply Thanks Jaswant. The modern cameras can do much better at higher ISO's. Sep 6th
