Thanks Rita. I think fun or maybe amusing is a good description. |

Rita,
I think the B/W version is definitely the better portrait image. I like that you eliminated some of the distractions in the background. The texture and brightness on the wall are a bit too much - maybe soften the background and use a vignette. Maybe like attached? |

Yes, I think the amount of camera movement was good - not too long; not too short. I like the filter effect too but like the movement image better. |

Anne,
Very nice. I like the palette of yellows, browns, and some greens and the vertical interwoven texture. Too rapid camera motion and all the detail is lost; not enough and it just looks like a poorly focused image - seems just right to me. What would your title be? |

Jamie,
I think your title for this image conveys well what you intended to be of greatest visual interest (the interesting shadows and light and streaming water). However, these features are overwhelmed by the bright rising sun. When an image contains a direct shot of the sun (rising or setting) the center of interest always becomes the sun because it is so bright compared to any other elements in the image. And that may be exactly what you intended with secondary interest on the shadows and light in the irrigated field.
I have attached an edited version which eliminates the sun and allows greater visual attention to the early morning light on this irrigated field. This is not necessarily a "better" image but I offer it as a possible alternative. |

Cindy,
I like the soft background but wish the center background was less bright, although that sort of highlights the head and neck.

Jacob,
Nice catch. I might crop in a bit more if the resolution holds up. |

Diane,
Everything is soft in this image, which you may have intended. If not, you know how to adjust in the future. I like the color palette with yellows, greens, and browns. |

It took me a while to sort this image out visually but once I did I think it is a stunning framing of the snoozing gorilla. The lighting is perfect. What a trip you had. |

Very iridescent and shiny. Lovely detail and I like the way the green background blends in softly. Agree that removing the distraction at the bottom would be good. |

Mervyn,
I like how the ripples and reflections frame the colorful bird in the center of the frame. The texture of the feathers around the neck lead up to the eye. |
