60 Jul 24 Comment Rita,
I don't think your lens was able to handle the Chroma very well. Lots of unusual texture and some color effects generated.

60 Jul 24 Comment Jamie,
Is that lens flare in the upper right of the image? Or some type of chromatic aberration? In any case, it's an interesting effect; looks like the tree is on fire.

60 Jul 24 Comment Tim,
Nice doggie portrait. You carry a lot of gear for a morning walk but it was put to good use in this image. Getting the lighting correct when combining a landscape with strong backlighting and a portrait is not easy. And is there a large bird in the mid-ground drying its wings?

60 Jul 24 Comment Anne,
I think this is a lovely image. I like all the lines and shading. The reflection in the window is a very nice touch. I wouldn't change a thing about this image. Well done.

I think you selected the perfect wildlife specimen for photography. No worries about your subject moving too fast.

69 Jul 24 Reply Well, I am not getting in that cold water. It was raining. Jul 8th
69 Jul 24 Comment I understand rhinos can be quite dangerous and this one does look like it might be considering a charge. And the ears, wow. They look like they have flowered. Jul 6th
69 Jul 24 Comment Cindy,
I like this image. The coloration of the bug clearly fits with the surroundings. And quite interesting texture and lines to that bug.

69 Jul 24 Comment Clearly captured fly with soft green background. I am impressed that you know the names of flies that don't bite. Mostly it is just the biting ones that we pay attention to. Jul 6th
69 Jul 24 Comment Yes, that Grackle definitely has something to say. Jul 6th
69 Jul 24 Reply I think you are right; unless all the water was draining out of the lake downhill. Jul 6th
69 Jul 24 Reply No trick. The fifth one is hiding in the feathers of the rightmost swan. You can just see its head sticking up. Jul 6th
