Anne,
You have to be coordinated to changed the focus while moving the camera. I like that the center is clear and readable and the lines and color radiate away from the center. |

Michelle,
I think this is a pleasing landscape. The major weakness, which you could not control, is that there were no clouds in the sky, so the background lacks visual interest. I appreciate that you tried to make it more interesting by adding the blue tint. Sometimes, when there are no clouds and the sun is setting where there are dramatically colored rocks, turning around to capture an image with the rocks illuminated by the golden sun works well. It sounds like you have been learning how to use your camera more effectively during the last year. |

Rita,
I like the soft lighting and pair. As you probably know, loons mate for life. There are lots of loons where we live on the lake in Michigan. The best loon images happen if you can catch them eating fish or transporting their young on their back. |

Damon,
Catching the person walking up the isle on the right adds a bit of asymmetry and a question. Where will the latecomer find a seat? |

Thanks. The upper corner was bright so I darkened it but didn't try to match the color. |

Jacob,
I like the small butterfly on the flower but I would crop out some of the background on the left and top. |

Diane,
Welcome to our PSA group. I like the leading lines of the branches and the reflection in the water. |

Jaswant,
I like the low key side view. I might open the shadows on the face a bit. |

Cindy,
Eye catching color, pattern, and texture. I would like the image a bit more if the leaf in the lower left was not truncated. |

Pierre,
Is that ice in the foreground? If so, it makes the image more interesting. |

Mervyn,
This is my favorite from your African photos. I like the crop because it emphasizes the tongue. A lovely lioness portrait. |

Pierre,
I took many photos of this flower. Some with a smaller F stop and some that were focus stacked. I ended up liking this particular one the best since the soft and muted background made the foreground pop. |
