This is an unusual bird image. It has excellent detail and sharpness. I don't see why PSA would have any objections. |

Foggy images like this often work well with bw. I like that you took the image very near the waterline. The large expanse of featureless sky doesn't do much for me; maybe crop down to remove some of it? Your camping trip sounds like fun in a lovely area of the country. |

I like this photo. The bee is sharp and the yellow flower provides a dramatic background. I might crop out the bit of yellow leaf on the mid left and add a mild vignette. |

I do like the close-up better. I might have included the entire grasshopper in the crop? The entire body looks like it is in sharp focus. I also might try to tone down the bright yellow area in the background, if possible. |

Good story with a dramatic image. You had the right shutter speed to get the wings sharp. Did you anticipate that the birds would be in the image? |
