60 Jul 23 Comment Ian,
Thanks for your comments. I think those aircraft are AT-6 (my father trained in those in Texas during WWII). That's a good eye on your part. Your expertise with aviation photography is welcome.

60 Jul 23 Comment Debbie,
I like the leading lines moving the viewer's eye toward the chapel. Using wide angle lenses with architecture allows for capturing more of the structure but usually creates some distortion - typically the upper part of the structure appears to be leaning away more than the base. LR does provide for correcting some of this type distortion but it can introduce other strangeness too.

60 Jul 23 Comment Anne,
Foliage and birds seem to go together often. It makes getting a "clean" bird image difficult, as you know. There is an interesting story here if you can look through the foliage.

60 Jul 23 Comment Damon,
Triptychs are often one image separated into three parts. I like that yours is composed of three different but related images that tell the story of the lighthouse. I find the grass in the middle image a bit distracting - I understand the inclusion of foreground.

69 Jul 23 Comment Thanks Mervyn,
I did notice those-removing them would improve the image.

This is one of your better images. Your patience paid off with capturing this wasp against the bright flower. Your phone may have over saturated the colors a bit? Reducing the orange a bit may make the wasp stand out a bit more.

69 Jul 23 Comment Cindy,
The open eggshell really makes this image interesting. The solitary gosling definitely appears distressed at being left behind. I can image this image was more cluttered before your editing - nice work on that.

69 Jul 23 Comment Mervyn,
You don't travel with you camera gear? Too much to lug around?
I like the family threesome, even with the out of focus bird in back. Making it a twosome wouldn't work as well for me.
Amazing orange and yellow eyes.

69 Jul 23 Comment Pierre,
Good "pose' for a bird on a stick and vibrant color. The muted green background is great. I agree that turning down the highlights would help a bit.
