Thanks Pierre. Yes, shorter exposure and more images will work too. There was a full moon when I took that image so I didn't have to layer two images to get both in good exposure. |

Boy that's a sharp image with great bokeh. With that sharpness, I'd crop in a bit more. Nothing in the background is of much interest. |

Now the spending begins for all those new lenses.
I like the composition. See attached- cropped a bit and I turned down the luminance on the reds and oranges. |

If you ever come up this way, let me know. However, you can shoot star trails from you back yard. The below horizon foreground may not be very interesting, but you can learn the process and then apply it elsewhere. Let me know if I can help. |
