I agree, finding the "best" crop with flowers is often quite subjective and both flowers were not equally well exposed, which may or may not be considered an issue by some. I think your crop to emphasis the single best exposed flower makes sense and I like your crop. Thanks for taking the time to do that. |

Dodging and burning (darkening) would be allowed. Very colorful bird in a natural environment. Birds seems to select the busy backgrounds. |

Good catch Geoff - the reflection is great. I agree that the blurred area is a bit distracting from the main interest. I'd crop it out and then deal with the branch. |
