Branda,
Tigers in Montana -- who would have thought. It sounds like a much better venue for pics than the typical zoo with fences and barriers. A nice portrait of a very majestic and powerful animal. |

Donna,
Although the leafy green background has lots of detail, I don't find it distracting in this particular image. It is largely homogeneous and soft. The subject in the foreground stands out nicely from the background and the lightened area around the subject highlights the central interest. |

Candy,
I like the strong vertical lines and contrast between each leaf as a background for the brown brush in the foreground. The traverse frond adds a very visually pleasing horizontal line(s). |

Mervyn,
Lovely lighting; great color and sky, good composition - very nice. To my eye, the horizon is tilted to the right somewhat but in an image like this with no open horizon line, I know that can be subjective. |

Thanks Candy. As quickly as butterflies usually move around, I was doing good to just get everything in focus. |
