Brenda,
This is a much more impactful image to my eye. You could blur the background a bit but not a big deal. This image is excellent. |

Candy,
I think the lightened version is definitely better. |

Brenda,
I think the reflection works well. The tiger is the main interest; I think the background where the trees and bushes are growing adds little important context. I'd crop it out to focus on the tiger and reflection. Cropping is permitted in PSA nature. |

Donna,
The soft green and yellow color palette of this image is lovely. Very sharp image of the frog and its eye.
I agree that a bit tighter crop might improve this image.

Pierre,
Your timing was excellent. The impending take-off provides visual tension and interest to this image. |

Mervyn,
The cropped image is certainly better without the distraction of the branch. I think the direction of the bird's gaze aligns with the body to provide a pleasing diagonal. |

Brenda,
Yes, I know of the Reeds. I won first prize in the people category in their annual contest last year. I did take lots of pictures of this gull in the water but I think it consistently kept its head toward the waves and I was not going to get in the water for a frontal shot. That's one reason I'll never be a good wildlife photographer.
Attached is a picture of the Badger coming into port a bit later that same evening. |
