Brenda,
See attached. It did make a difference, altough it is somewhat difficult to see with the smaller file. |

Yes, I rarely mess with saturation. Attached is the sharpened photo using Nik Output Sharpener with a control point. It is an improvement, I think. Thanks. |

Yes, I that would have been better. Next time I'll try to remember that and use a better hyperfocal setting. |

Lovely soft light and calm waters. Too bad there wasn't some interesting foreground available but that doesn't always work out with large bodies of water.
The lone tree on the island framed by the channel could be a subject itself, if you had a long lens available. |

These days, I thought just about every animal in Florida is invasive or non-native :).
Very sharp and colorful image. |

Mervyn,
Nice catch. The eye and feathers are sharp and the airborne water drops add action and make the picture dynamic. |

Rob,
I looked at the original and zoomed in. I think you are right -- the foreground looks a bit soft so maybe my hyperfocal seat of the pants calculation wasn't so good. I was shooting with my Panasonic LX100 - f8.0, 1/160. Might also have been a bit windy too - can't remember. |
