49 Mar 21 Comment Yes and yes. The images I have posted here are one of several bracketed images. I will merge them and see how they look. I did not use filters for this sunset. Mar 25th

49 Mar 21 Comment Hi Cora, I find the simplicity is very nice. I also find the bright areas distracting as you question. I am not very good with monochrome. Adding vignette may help and removing bright areas may help. I have attached the image after i worked on it. I did a rough edit. Mar 22nd
49 Mar 21 Comment Hi David, Please find attached image. Just my ideas. Mar 22nd
49 Mar 21 Comment Hi David, i am on my way to Death Valley so I will look again in a day or 2. Mar 13th
49 Mar 21 Comment The image to my eye has good exposure and and sharpness. The shutter speed provides a very nice smoothing of the water fall which contrasts the sharpness of the ice. Certainly a good image of early spring showing the power of the water coming through. The composition in the BNW is very pleasing. Wonderful image. Mar 10th
49 Mar 21 Comment I find the image to be sharp in the foreground where the water droplets are with just the right amount of reduced sharpness going back. The colors and highlights seem very good from my viewpoint. I particularly like the details of the red lines in the yellow petal.
The left side of the subject is mildly blurred so a little distracting to my view. I believe you could crop it more for an even stronger image.

49 Mar 21 Comment Like the contrast theme of old and new, large and small of the city. I find some of the highlights of the buildings in the foreground are too bright. Also the sky is hazy and there are ripples. Are they clouds? Maybe it is because of the low resolution image? I am wondering if a ND filter in LR or PS would help with the foreground? Mar 10th
