thanks for your comments. i did not consider cropping tighter. I have to agree that the image is improved with a tighter crop and still gives a sense of place. Simpler is always better. |

Nice sharp image and exposure. I have tried doing these. I have found a variety of recipes online and some do not work as well. It seems there is a proper recipe for a certain temperature and maybe event the humidity makes a difference. I will try your recipe. Overall, i find this image to be a very good image of a tough process. |

The colors are amazing. I like the bokeh and the separation of the father and son enabling me to easily make out who they are. I like the lower perspective of the camera. I am distracted by the red item that the father is holding(?hat). The red item does not complement the predominant colors of the image. The boy is nearly a silhouette and i believe having the father more of a silhouette would make a stronger image. Overall, very nice from my viewpoint. |

Color, focus and bokeh are attractive to me. DOF of the flower seems very good. I am distracted by the bright water. I agree a vertical crop might make a stronger image. |

The composition, colors, focus, and exposure all give this a "moody" feeling. I also wonder why the boat is there and how it got there. Very nice. |

I find the perspective of this image inspiringly different. Looking at this image, i feel like i am in the stream. I agree the blurred foreground is not helpful. I also would like more detail in the snow on the edge of the stream that is in the center. BnW does seem to work. |
