Alan that is fabulous. I followed along on a recent Webinar so I now have an idea what you did. I will give it a try.
Jerry and Alan, I agree the right looks a little tilted in but I am at a loss as to what to do. The left side and black light towers appear vertical to me. So I am not sure how to fix the right side tilt.
On the original, the left side seems tilted more in than the right sided. I believe I rotated the original image thinking it was not perfectly horizontal, then applied a perspective adjustment in PS. Maybe i rotated the original too much? I really like this image so I have to get this right!! Any suggestions? |

I have been on the 3 day forecast sight but I have not heard of the 27 day outlook. Thanks for the info. Where is the closest location to Pittsburgh to see the auroras? I thought it was North of lake huron or superior. |

I love this photo. For me, I find the subject, colors and exposure to be very pleasing. I like the position of the flower in the image that you chose. The sunflower really stands out from the sky and i find the sharpness of the petals is great. My only personal thought is that maybe move the crop so the bee is a little further down in the image and spot enhance the exposure of the bee. Otherwise, the image is very striking. |

I have never seen the aurora. I find the exposure and composition of this image to be very pleasing. I am distracting by the angle of the trees and telephone pole. I attached an image that i altered the perspective and cropped to 8x10. Of course when i straightened the trees our the aurora was elongated. So I am not sure this is that event you remembered. Of course, i would also remove the tree limbs on the right border. |

I find the composition of the lighthouse and boats to be very good. I agree the Alan. Maybe cropping them out would enhance the image. I also find the image to be a tad leaning to left. There seems to be a water mark left upper corner which can be cropped out. |

Very scary. I am glad you survived to tell the exciting story. Personally, I won't go on bear trips! |

I find this image has good exposure and colors and is very pleasing to the eye. I agree with Alan about cropping it more. I find the wings to be sharp but the eyes not quite as sharp. Maybe Topaz Sharpen AI would sharpen the eyes? Regarding the background, I like the bokeh. The brightness around the butterfly and other bright areas may be distracting. Maybe trying to mask it and darken it may enhance the image. The butterfly is bright so a darker background would probably work. |

Thanks for the suggestions. Alan- i have no idea how to do what you did. It looks lot better. I know what you mean about masking. For increasing the definition, do you mean sharpness? Could i do that with Topaz then use the mask for the moon and clouds? It appears that you increased the exposure of the sky. |
