Exposure and composition are great. My eye wants to get right into the image. For me, the clouds are competing with the colorful sand and sky. Storm clouds make great images but so can the colorful sky and sand. I really like the ripples of color on the right side of sand. I cropped the image. This may or may not be to your liking. |

This image is so cool. The exposure is perfect. The image has a wow factor. It appears to me to be tilted to the left just a little. This may just be an optical illusion due the the ripples in the water being diagonal from up right to down left. |

Capturing the moment is a good idea. The exposure is tough with indoor light. The background and the faces are bright so a faster shutter may have been possible. What was the shutter speed and aperture?
I tried to make adjustments in LR but there is too much body and head motion. |

I like the moment, the composition, exposure and focus. I am not sure about the monochrome. For me Vegas is about the color, lights and glitz. I just don't feel that in the monochrome. I thought cropping the image square and adding a little bokeh to the background--just a little. I am out of town and do not have PS with me so I could not add the bokeh. I removed the lady's face on the left side. |
