We saw many 'officers' with these fancy gloves. We finally got bold enough to ask this gentleman if we could photograph him. He was more than glad to comply. |

Perfect exposure. Nice, rich color. Did you enlarge this from your original? Or is this its own shot? The hand with the knife leads right to the corn which leads to the other hand which keeps the viewer's eye in the picture. Very well done. |

The soft lighting shows the pillowy texture of his hands very well. I don't mean that his hands are fat, just not craggy. The key fob adds a lot of interest. Is he hiding it? Might he drop it? Is he waiting patiently for his passenger? There is enough contrast in the darks jacket that the hands are not suspended in black space. I really like the snaps for some reason. |

What a beautiful study in textures and contrasts. The elegant silverware, the jewelry, the lacy dress all counterbalance the old hands; hands that have seen much of life and manages to come through it all. This makes me think of Dicken's Miss Havisham, except your mother rose above it all and enjoyed life. |

Your hands look like mine! Hands are very interesting, and have many stories to tell. The lighting brings out the character of your hand; you would like it if it was someone else's hand. Generative AI did a marvelous job on the background. I've never tried it. In truth, I don't know where to find it. |

Did you go too far in your editing? Not to my eye. Fine art is very often an interpretation of a scene, not just a recording of it. I like all those colors in the grass - and the light on the pumpkin. You've added a bit of fantasy to an ordinary photo. |

The diagonal lines of the beach and the waves lead the eye very nicely to the vanishing point. The clouds do the same from above. Adding the warm tone to the finished image gave it a very natural sunset mood. Very nice. |

Wow, you did a lot of work. And the end result is well worth your effort. Being able to montage all these different layers is a real talent. Even with step-by-step direction, I cannot get a good result. The music notes, the flowers in her hair add an artistic flair to her image. It is almost as if we can hear the music running through her mind. This is excellent. I hope she gets a copy of it. |

Your high contrast B&W adds an edginess that this image really needs. Hmmm. More texture in the white background might work; just don.t overdo it. As it is, Katie appears to be standing in front of a large field, perhaps waiting for someone. I'm not a big fan of super high contrast, but I really like this image. |

This is exquisite. I have a painter friend who does very fine detailed work. This looks like one of her paintings. She would be impressed. That long stem keeps drawing my attention for some reason. I tried a close crop to compare. |
