That texture does what was intended in my second version. Brightness around the baby, some interest in the wall. Nicely done. |

f/5.6 at 1/100 sec, ISO 12800. We were shooting available darkness inside. That's probably what caused the noise. |

The grandma wanted that poster in the frame, and the customer is always right. But the plain background is a little dull. On the plain fill layer I added one paint drop of white with a really feathered edge just under her head. I really brightened things up. But I did it on an inner layer, so it doesn't show on the final image. I should pay more attention to what I am doing. |

I love it when the kids mug for the camera. Their delight is contagious. I do agree with Fran and like her version. This one is great fun! |

Hello Fran, and welcome. We all look forward to seeing your images. This one is a real winner. The splash of the water is so exciting and the horse's pose is very dynamic. The eye is sharp, as it should be. Good job. |

The expressions on the boys' faces truly say "joy"! The corner of cake clearly shows that this is a birthday party. That "BAM!" sign adds a dollop of fun. |

I love it. This is perfect for one of those inspirational posters about de-stressing. |

You caught this moment perfectly - the people are intent on their time together, not the photographer. It brings back the innocence of childhood. |

No flash, no tripod. Excellent lighting and excellent focus - no small feat. I tried taking out the light stems in the background, just for kicks. And, yes Carole, there is indeed a quiet joy in watching butterflies on flowers while a light breeze blows and the birds sing. |

This looks like a sky in some fantasy or sci-fi story. The starburst is placed well, but a little too well defined. Do you have a softer version? |

I like all the images. Sure glad I don't have to judge thtem. Isn't it wonderful how we can get so many good versions of one shot with so little effort? |

Like any pattern shot, this needs something for thtte eye to land on. Perhaps a different color egg near the center or a small chicken feather would work. However, you were in a market. These were not your eggs, so you really couldn't change them. This might work well as part of a tryptich of your day at the market. |

This is a lovely version of the original, very dreamy. I might have tamed down the white clouds in both sky and reflection. Is the water so clear that the bottom shows? |

The water has the lovely colors of the reflection of a late afternoon blue sky and pink clouds. Probably you just need to soften the water a bit. I reduced clarity then added a diffusion blur with a light touch. I do like Michael's version also. |
