Yes, it should be brighter. Your comment about a big pile of snow on the table is interesting. When this happens, the pile of snow looks like a big marshmallow - good for hot chocolate on days like this. |

Fox are such beautiful animals. We have one that show up at night on the game cam. How we wish we could see it by day! The background is a bit busy, but that is its natural habitat. I tried brightening the eyes with Viveza. That is a very small area, but it helped. However, it made little difference overall. The rimlight is perfect. The texture of the fur makes the viewer want to pet this lovely creature. Might crop just a little from the right. |

This is just excellent. Although I, too, wonder about that black thing. |

Your crop is good, emphasizing the most interesting part of the image. I would like to see the snow whiter and brighter. But, in fact, snlw is reflective and can look like this near sunset. So, don't change it. |

Everything is good here - exposure, color, contrast, depth of field. The diagonals are great. I find the gravel peeking through the fence to be distracting. I cropped to eliminate some of that, leaving the chunks at the intersecting points of the Rule-of-thirds grid. Can't go too much more or the nice diagonals and shadows will be lost. |

The beauty and majesty of these Western mountains humbles a mere human. This is a beautiful scene. The foreground road has a nice diagonal line along the edge that leads to the trees. The red-gold of the field helps to emphasize that line. The trees are tiny, but add interest to the scene. To my eye the dark clouds at the top are not as interesting as the road. I would also like to see more emphasis on the sunbeams. |

It wasn't on a reflective surface. The sparkly black net was laid on a mat black surface. The flowers were part of a Y shaped stem, lying flat. It was only afterwards that I realized this could be a reflection of a single stem. But to convey this interpretation the flowers had to be reflected in water, not a mirror. This was a fun exercize. |

At an histotric farm near us is a humongous boar that is kept in his own pen. I found him almost frightening. A little girl found him delightful, so I moved in closer. Like your hog, his face was sweet and almost lonesome. Looking carefully often gives us more to photograph. You did a nice job here. But to my eye the Smudge is a bit overdone. |

Bokeh is all the rage right now, but sometimes it distacts from the subject. You toned it down perfectly. You also brightened the whole image which perks up the color of the flower and brings out the rim lighting. Very Nice. |
