To echo those before me: B&W is the best treatment for this image. I never looked at the centering of the woman, but her position along the railing of the guardrail. In any case, she is well-placed. And taken through the windshield of a car on the Autobahn! (There is no speed limit there, right?) Henri Cartier-Bresson would have been proud of this. |

I do hope you were within easy reach of shelter. This storm looks worse than mine. It is great as is, but adding a little drama to such an image can never be bad. Just don't overdo it. There is a lot of story behind this image - did the storm make landfall, was it terrible, was it followed by a rainbow? There is much here to keep the viewer involved. |

Tulips are elegant in their simplicity of shape. One is tempted to increase the contrast and hype the color a little; but this image has a lovely mood as it is. It lends itself very well to a vertical composition. And perhaps a little more stem would give the blossom support. |

Squirrels will quickly become used to humans they see regularly. They have favorite places to hunt for snacks. One nature photographer used to hide peanuts in the grass and wait for the squirrels to find them. A fast shutter as well as multi-shot will help stop their fast motion. Pre focusing on the spot you expect to find them may shorten your reaction time. We love our squirrels. Yes, they eat the bird food, but there is plenty to go around. I'll repeat all the good things the others said. |

The window and the screen were open to avoid blur. It was a very fast-moving storm. The rain had ended in our location; the lightning was probably 3-5 miles away. |

Rotating the image makes the flower appear to be enjoying a spring breeze blowing through its petals. I like the brighter version also. The other is too dark for such a bright and delicate blossom. The texture adds a painterly feeling to the image. |

We were in the Smokies for a workshop (perhaps at this very stream). While there we learned that photos of soft moving water need something else as a secondary subject, otherwise the photo looks like a white blob. Cloning out the colored leaves on the rocks removes that distraction and emphasizes the water. I like the way the curved tree brings the eye to the bridge and allows the viewer to follow the stream. |

In the new version, the moon balances the fence very well. Ths size seems more appropriate , too, although it may be the same size as the original. The original had a funky area just above the hillside which the moon now hides. Nicely done. But now the moon looks a bit too pink. The low-hanging moon looks more orange than pink. All that said, this is a fairy tale. You can do whatever you want. We all know that elves and wizards are not real; but we often wish they were. Removing the screw in the fencepost was well done. |

One of the layers has a dark vignette. Perhaps I should not have used that, or at least lowered the opacity. The dark shadow across the top is a shadow from the roof overhang. I really like the color you brought out. Thank you. |

The little angel looks as though she is bringing a blessing to a lonely place. by cropping out other tombstones and monuments you made this something other (and better) than a record shot of a monument. There is a lot of emotion here, and much left to the viewer's interpretation. Very well done. |
