Thank you all very much. My friends couldn't quite see the groundhog right away. I added the 'artwork' after a long afternoon when I was feeling giddy. This is such fun. I shot an old tree stump shaped like a Saguaro cactus. I added a cowboy hat and scarf. There was another of 2 boys in a play. That is my favorite, but I couldn't find it. Do any of you have that problem? |

As everyone said, cropping in on the blurry flowers gives a better composition. And, yes, the whites a blocked up. Underexposing 1/2 to one stop will give more saturated colors and protect the highlights. In digital photos it is easier to pull detail out of the shadows during post processing than to get details out of the highlights. Keep playing with your flowers! |

Yes, this is rather more dramatic than the other images. But I love it. Those two bright lights do seem to be a gateway to the unknown. Your exposure, composition, and focus are perfect. |

Whimsy doesn't mean 'made up.' Real images can be just as delightful. There is a lot to see here. You should offer it to the Fair organizers for a publicity shot for next year's brochures and posters. Love it. |

I am a fan of science fiction, and this does, indeed, look like something from Star Trek. Flash can often be too harsh, but you used it well on this image. Nice work. |

Did you pan the original image of the train? God job! I agree with Barbara that the green is good; it looks like the forest growth is turning into the train. Instead of the "Polar Express this could be the "Jungle Express." |

Perfectly whimsical! This looks like it is straight from Harry Potter. Not only did you have an idea, but you know how to use the proper tools to create it! |
