Root beer is actually just a soft drink with natural carbonation and a very sweet taste, similar to sassafras or birch beer. It pairs very nicely with vanilla ice cream. I, too, have a strong German lineage, and I hate real beer. |

If you had to move her in Photo Shop, you did a great job! Yes, the image is too dark and dull. That is easily fixed using levels, brightness/contrast, or curves. Just watch the histogram so that blacks don't block up and whites don't get blown out. Next time you are there, have her support the bottom with her left had - that pyramid must be awfully heavy. Welcome to group 12! Did you know that we have a page for general photography discussion? Check it out and join in. |

Well, the whole perspective of the room is turned upside down in the reflection. Yes, the perspective is natural, but it is unusual. Don't you just love these old, worn out places? |

This forced perspective seems to be a big challenge for all of us. In your favor, the teddy bear looks big enough to fill the bed. That is like Carole's had seeming large enough to hold the wagon wheel. |

I agree with Walter; the interesting part of the image is the right hand half. Why did you reduce the opacity of the finger? Perhaps you wanted to suggest some elusive creature like a wood nymph holding up the tree. I can envision a whole library of hands and fingers to use like this, just as we have libraries of cloud pictures. Nicely done. |

But you got the idea! Keep working on it. Tell your potential models that no one will see their faces. That often works with people who are camera shy. |

Actually, the tablecloth was edited in Photo Shop using Transform/Perspective. But you're right; this is not really forced perspective. And my husband enjoyed the float! |
