I think that the wonderful part of the image is the color in the trees and the feeling of layering and perspective. I think that the bright white clouds do pull your eye away from the trees and as I look at Paul's image, there are enough layers in the yellow to give a good sense of depth |

You certainly have told a story with your image. Those big old houses were grand and represented a different way of life but no one can afford the upkeep, even some of the historical societies. |

It is tough in the afternoon to get away from people but is good in the morning. Of course, you would not get that beautiful red in the morning that you see in this image. If you used a longer lens you could have increased the size of the moon but then you would only have 2 stacks and would need to move quite a bit to the left. Try increasing the exposure some and then brush in more exposure to the foreground |
