Hi Elizabeth,
very nice image. I really like the barn with its textures and the angle of the barn. I think that the driveway act as a nice leading line and actually along with some other elements help to frame the barn. You might try to burn in the fence and the tree to the right of the barn, sort of like a partial vignette. |

Hi Larry,
I really like the layers caused by the rolling landscape and I especially like the brighter area in the snow on the left as I feel as if I am on a journey from the left of the image, down hill to the bright area and a sense of turning on the far left. I have one question for you about the trees in the first layer of trees. The spruces seem to have plenty of detail and stand out quite well but the hardwoods without any leaves seem to meld together almost if they are beginning to posterize. Does it look like that on your computer? I have had similar situations occasionally when there is very little tonal seperation |
