In my opinion, the dark rocky ledge jutting out with reflection of the Cathedral Rock below makes your picture interesting and unique. I would not change a thing. |

I also liked the layers and the colors. Most of all, I liked the question it provoked. How did the boat get there? Yes, you could crop a little from the top, but I like it just as it is. |

Wow! You captured this egret not only doing something, but in a vertical position. Great capture!
I would have deleted the broken reflections with content-aware. To me, they distract from the star of the show. |

I like the contrast of the dark wet rocks with the colorful and almost lacy and colorful foliage. Your picture makes me want to sit and listen to the brook and take this scene even more. I do wish I could have seen a little more on the other side. I know you wanted to show off the foliage, but the picture seems to me to be abruptly cut off. |

And looking at the picture, I can see that I failed to straighten it!!! |

I did a double take. This dove looks fake. She does look very resolute!
I would work just a little more to darken the highlight at the lower right of the picture. Great find! |

I thought it was my selection which was faulty, but the petals really have those sharp edges. I had never heard about the underexposing (because it is an additive process). Will definitely try it next time. Thank you for your comments. |

A very sharp penny and one that is becoming rare. Good focus! |

I agree with Cindy's suggestion, although when I first looked at your image, my eyes went to the middle and the letters above it. The colors are beautiful. |

That pretty weed is a thistle. I like the sharpness of the petals, the thorns, actually, everything but the background. The background is soft as it should be. I would not change a thing. Another home-run, Nelson. |

I like the placement of the leaves on the bi-colored trunk--I guess because of the rain. Each of the leaves is on or very near the crash location of the rule of thirds. My only suggestion would be to add a vignette to keep the focus on the leaves. |

I would love to go to a sunflower farm especially at this time.
You have texture. colors and shapes nicely arranged -- all elements of a good composition. I think you can get away with placing the sunflower in the middle of your picture because of the shape, although off center may make it more interesting. I agree with Cindy that you should eliminate the dark spots which are a little distracting. |

I, too, experimented with rain drops or droplets and found it hard. You are inspiring me. I may try it again.
Would a smaller aperture give you a deeper depth of field allowing you to get the back of the cone sharper? In my opinion the detail on the front of the cone is beautiful. |
