19 Aug 20 Comment A wonderful shaped bottle with colored buttons placed against the patterns on the wall -- so creative. My suggestion echoes others -- provide a little room at the top. Aug 22nd
19 Aug 20 Comment It does feel and look like a steamy morning. I like the haze and the leading line of the road leading to the haze and light pouring down. Was going to suggest cropping from the bottom but did not like the square aspect as much. I would leave it like it is. Aug 22nd
19 Aug 20 Comment Carroll, I would even crop tighter -- some of the top including the blue light (?). The background still shows motion. I think you were quick to be able to get this on the spot. Aug 22nd
19 Aug 20 Comment Mary is lucky to have a good photographer like you take her picture. I like how she and the dog anchors the diagonal lines of the deck. The water behind her makes a great background and removing the pole would simplify the background even more. The light you chose is perfect.

I would echo Norm about asking Mary to choose another way to sit so that her stance is not distracting from her beautiful face.

19 Aug 20 Comment I love what you have done with this image. It does show bewilderment.

My only little suggestion would be to crop a little from the bottom to make it look like she is really alive, looking at you. I know this sounds crazy, but she could be one of the images in Pompeii who got turned into stone.

19 Aug 20 Comment Norm, As usual, your pictures are great and I always learn from them. I agree with all suggestions given by the others. I do have a question. How did you get the dark background? Aug 15th

57 Aug 20 Comment I think this is a great image. The animal poised between your fingers fully alive is ready to leap off if you allowed it. I think cropping the tag would put the edge too close to the animal. It doesn't bother me that the tag is there. It completes the story. Great picture! Aug 22nd
57 Aug 20 Reply Thanks, it already looks better! Aug 11th
57 Aug 20 Comment The center of this daisy is so beautiful and most of it is very sharp. The green background is nicely blurred. In my opinion, the white petals are a little soft showing a shallow depth of field. Aug 10th
57 Aug 20 Comment Nelson, a piece of art. I wonder how it would look if you print it on glass or metal. No suggestions for improvement. Aug 10th
57 Aug 20 Comment Cindy, I love your title -- so appropriate. Those blueberries look so good. Everything is sharp and in this picture of patterns, the raspberry stands out because of the color. I can see the triangle after you pointed it out, but it was not obvious to me. Aug 10th
57 Aug 20 Comment Your little crab seems to be looking at you and saying what are you doing? I can see why you photographed him. The colors harmonize and he is cute. The ends of the appendages look a little soft. Perhaps he was moving them. I would also suggest that you crop tighter making the crab appear larger. I agree with Cindy about definitely cropping the bar at the top. Aug 10th
