19 May 20 Comment I don't know if I would get much work done looking at such a scene. I like the tree even if some part of it is missing. It kind of balances the picture. In my opinion the horizontal rays and the softness of the rising mist make a very tranquil picture. May 27th
19 May 20 Comment What a scene. I like the crop you made. The small trees in the foreground give scale to the majesty of the mountains. The blue might be a touch too blue in my opinion but beautiful to admire. May 20th
19 May 20 Comment I really tried to find something to say, but all I can say, it is a great shot. May 20th
19 May 20 Comment Good eye to notice the leading line made by the sheep to the cabin, even if the fourth one was not as cooperative. Especially, at this time, we are all looking for tranquil scenes. I like the texture and painterly effect added by Snapseed to the cabin, trees and grass; however, in my opinion, the sheep looked better as they were. May 20th
19 May 20 Comment Photo tells a story or makes the viewer wonder what the story is. There is color harmony throughout. Wonderful shot. May 20th
19 May 20 Comment I think it is a great shot. I like the horizontal lines in the picture -- green, pink and yellow on top of the fence. Then you have the pattern from the fence and the foliage behind the fence. I agree with Stan, the foliage could be blurred a little to soften it. And then you have James, the star. You caught him at the perfect moment and everything is sharp. I can almost hear the roar from the stands! May 8th

57 May 20 Comment Great shot. Everything is perfect.

I am scheduled to watch a Macro webinar this afternoon. I know I will learn a lot.

57 May 20 Comment I love the colors and the story behind it. Your foreground seems sharp to me with the background progressively out of focus which seems correct to me.

I like Cindy's suggestion of a knitting needle.

57 May 20 Comment The shallow depth of field works well considering this is not a product photo. Your title says it all -- this was your Old Argus camera. There is emotion in the title. Using the TV as the background was smart as it makes it more 3 dimensional. I like the angle and crop as it is. May 21st
57 May 20 Reply Thank you, Andrew for your suggestion to focus stack. I did not even think of it because I thought moving items could not be focus stacked -- but now I know. No, my camera does not focus stack, but I have done it manually on subjects that did not move. This little critter was moving very, very fast. A faster shutter speed may have been able to take his movements, but there wasn't enough light -- that is why I risked bumping the ISO. May 21st
57 May 20 Reply I don't know what happened to the picture. I just sent another one to Jessica showing the whole creature. There is a lot of noise.I have not learned how to eliminate it in post processing. One more thing to try to learn.... May 6th
57 May 20 Comment I think the coils of this shell are beautiful. My eyes want to follow the curves to the center of the shell, but they are also drawn to the right side of the picture, which I am not sure you wanted. I do like the glow. May 6th
57 May 20 Comment My eyes are also drawn to the center of the bloom which appear to be very sharp. I like the blurry background. I think it is very dreamy. May 6th
