I have been thinking about your image since yesterday. In my opinion the sky is a distracting element. My eyes are drawn tp the red area first. The red is a little jarring to my eyes. |

Norm, you are so right. I had not noticed the highlight on the right. They do seem to lead my eye out of the picture. Thank you for looking at these versions of the same picture. I did need some outside help. |

Thank you so much for your thoughts on these three versions. I intend to work on the toned version more as I think both of you agree that it might have more potential. I also liked it best. Sometimes you look at a picture too much. It is then that you need an outside opinion. |

I thought the background was very natural -- like an approaching rainstorm. Was I wrong? Was it just a card or a wall? Either way, it is very appropriate. Liked the upside down view of the flowers, angle which you chose to take the photo, and the simplicity of the image. |

I felt very calm when I looked at your image which is a good thing during these anxious times. Loved the colors and minimal treatment. Would not change a thing. |

I have never been to Washington DC. I image the Union Station is usually crowded in which case, your picture definitely tells a story. The people shown do show scale. Great composition showing straight and curved lines, shapes, arches, repetition, and symmetry. Beautiful architecture. I would not change a thing. |

I really like this picture. It makes me feel peaceful looking at it. The infrared enhances the black heifers and makes them stand out even more.
To my eyes, the frame distracts from the picture. It is a different shade from the white in the picture. |

It tells a story of the couple that visited that location. I think the different shapes, sizes and textures make an interesting image. I have always wondered if the couple come with their locks in hand ready to make the statement.
I like that you shot the locks at an angle and that you chose to leave some of the background to allow the viewer to see some of the surroundings.
In my opinion the white bar at the top of the picture is a little distracting and could be cropped out without hurting the image.

Nelson, I have never been able to take a good photographs of vegetables at the Farmer's Market. I have tried, but the light or the arrangement or my stance has never been right. You got it and with an mobile phone.
Colors, arrangement, and even the vegetables on the side seem to be blocking your eyes from going outside the image.
I would make only one suggestion, crop a little from the top to eliminate the metal basket at the upper right corner. |

I love it. I was cleaning one of my bookcases and I came across a book entitled "Matisse Paper Cut-Outs." Your composition would fit right in -- shapes, repetition and whimsey. I would leave it like it is! |

I had to look very closely to notice that the back wings are a little blurred. It is sharp in the front where it needs to be.
I would be proud to hang it on my wall! |

How beautiful! The main two images are very sharp and the back lighting makes them even better.
I find the background a little overexposed something you could fix by bringing the highlights down in Photoshop. |

Definitely good quality control as evidence of its 50+ years.
You did achieve your two goals - correct exposure and everything is in focus--using manual focus. Good! I also like your orientation--setting the circuit board at an angle which makes it more interesting than setting it horizontally.
Since I am not an engineer nor profess any technical skills, I don't know if it would be possible to unhook the circuit board from the black exterior casing and remove it from the image. To my eyes, the casing is a little distracting from the main image which is the circuit board. |
