I have studied your picture many times and have come to the conclusion that I have missed a lot for not traveling like all of you. I had to look up Bromo. The time was perfect and the twinkling stars added to this panorama. I would be proud to hang this on my walls. |

I like the lines of your image. You have done an excellent job transforming the original to a closeup of what may be considered a look at our skin with lovely colors behind it. I know it isn't, but it could be!! Need to try Topaz Glow. |

I think this is a lovely "street" or travel photo because of this excellent composition using curves, color, lines, rectangles and the fact that you captured the people relaxing enjoying a drink very much in the style of Henri Cartier-Bresson. Upon closer look, it looks like someone was crouching down to avoid being in the picture, or maybe to just pick up something from the floor? Nevertheless, I have learned a lot just by looking at this picture. |

Harriet, I like your edits. It has certainly improved the photo. He is more prominent in the picture especially his eyes. If I were to suggest anything, it would be to Touch/Retouch the small horizontal piece of something at the lower left side of the Dr. Doolittle. |

I really like photos that show humorous situations. Many of us don't notice them so it takes a good photographer to point them out to us. You could crop a small part of the sand and it would still be a good picture. It is interesting that the line of the clouds and the boat balance the slope of the beach. |

I am just a beginner in using black and white, but I like your picture and both stories. The first one because it could be true and the second because it shows that you have THE eye and stopped to take the picture. You might want to darken the clump of rocks right below the dark horse and the two small rocks on the right of the picture. |

Perfect crop. The curves of the butterfly's wings keep you going around the image. Usually it is hard to isolate the butterfly from the rest of the plant. Good job. |

Jessica, I really like the object you photographed because of the repetition of coils and the monochrome choice. I think I would like it better if the image was flipped so the negative side would be at the right, but that is only my opinion. Very interesting composition. |

I, too, like the worn edges and the slight greenish tone showing age. The shapes and repetition of the circles and lines makes the composition interesting. Good depth of field where everything is sharp. |
