Great capture. We have these Great Blue Herons in our area, but I have never had the right lens and settings to photographs them. Your post processing corrected the blown out highlight of the bird and brought out the sharpness of the bird and the water drops as he took off. Great job. |

I like street photography also, but I have not found many opportunities to exercise it. The best images are the ones that are not posed like this one.
I, too, would try cropping a little from the bottom and the left to bring the young man away from the center of the image. |

I like the composition (using the Rule of Thirds and the leading lines). You might try cropping the tree on the left as Norm suggested. It would emphasize the house a little more. The painterly filter works beautifully on this pastoral image. |

I like the angle you used to photograph this image, presenting the arms on the left to balance the bow on the right. In my opinion the strength and beauty of the image is the simplicity which is enhanced by the monochrome treatment. Great image. |

The thought of having to get rid of digital noise keeps me from moving my ISO much higher than 1600. I have missed taking many a picture because of this fear. I applaud you for pushing it up there to get your picture and also for getting rid of the noise. The starkness you refer to came across and I think the mono treatment emphasizes this coyote on a mission better than color. Good job. |

Your camera does a great job at focus stacking. I like that the flower is in an angle and the colors pop with the black background. |

I too think the right side especially is a little too dark, but I would not crop the left side. I like the whole leaf coming out from the lower right towards the left. Maybe you could lighten the right side a little. Loved the dahlia. |
