Beautiful job at focus stacking. Iris or lilly very sharp. I would use another background. I would prefer a lighter color, but you could try different shades. I have never been good at focus stacking. Need to try it again. |

Carroll,
A beautiful portrait. I liked the angle she is looking at me and the sharpness of the image. In my opinion, the image would be better if her arms would hang down. I agree with Norm that her hands distract me from her beautiful face and eyes. |

What a beautiful scene. I can almost feel the crisp air and joy of being able to commune with nature. The s-curve of the brook leads you to the trees that stand tall in the mist. The snow in the bushes in front add texture. I would not change a thing. |

I like the colors and patterns made by the "eyes" of the plumage. Most of all, I like the lines made by the flowing feathers which signify movement. My suggestion for next time would be not to crop so tight. |

What a beautiful and impactful photograph. I like the way the leading lines of the pedestrian bridge lead me on to the hotel. The repetitive helices lit by red lights and the white star lights help draw me to the shiplike structure below. The architectural bold lines of the tall building are massive and bring my eyes downward to the colorful reflections of the bay. The dark shadows do not divert my attention from the walk and the hotel; I think they emphasize it. I would not change a thing. |

John,
I love the peace and tranquility your picture inspires. The light is perfect. The leading lines lead straight to the rainbow. The sandy beach invites the viewer to "walk in." |

I understand why you wanted to include so much of the branch. The branch's color, orientation as an s curve and texture are very different and interesting. The light green background sets the branch and buds beautifully. You got rid of the noise without sacrificing the sharpness of the image. I would have liked to have seen more of the buds. |

What an interesting picture. I am drawn to it because of the colors, shapes and textures. I like the shiny glare on the moist cabbage. In my opinion, it makes it look real. This is an opinion of someone who is not very knowledgeable about food photography, so please take it with a grain of salt. But I do like to eat, and this dish would look good to me.

I like the way these button seem to be randomly thrown out and photographed. The colors. shapes, textures and light play into making a balanced and interesting picture. It is more than just buttons. I am afraid to try... Good work. |

I like the colors, sharpness and shapes of the eggs as contrasted to the lines of the rustic sticks. My eyes are drawn to each of the eggs individually especially the top one. In my opinion that egg could probably stand on its own with a little cloning of the ribbon below to the right. |

I have never seen a live cherry blossom bud or tree. I have seen pictures and they appear just beautiful. I like the detail, vivid color, and lines of the cherry blossom bud. In my opinion a landscape cropping might make the bud more prominent and would crop some of the distracting highlights of the ground. |
