I like the curved lines of the window framing the straight lines inside with all the angles and textures. I also like the position of the window -- leaving more space at the top of the window than at the bottom. I agree with Nelson that a vignette would draw your eyes more to the center of the window. I also wonder if it would make a stronger image in black and white. |

I think the center of the poinsettia is your picture and the red leaves of the plant are merely background. I looked at my poinsettia and mine is not quite as interesting! |

Your very creative photo is beautiful and tells a story. I like the reflections inside the globe and the fact that the dark part of the globe (the Christmas tree) is not centered inside of the globe. To my eyes the three very bright lights above the globe are a little distracting, and perhaps could be darkened. Also, I would have liked to have seen the reflection of the whole globe on the table and not a partial reflection. |

Your picture is not a "Happy Snappy." The colors, lines, texture and pattern point to a very knowledgeable photographer. I like he way the curves of the woven image contrast with the lines of the crocheting. The depth of the image is at the crash point of the rule of thirds. A very clever and interesting still life. |
