They say creativity grows in a playful environment, and you have proved it. When I read how you create your image, I know you really enjoy what you do. I like the zigzag lines meeting the circular lines of the bubbles, and the use of contrasting colors. I don't see your composition as something that needs to be sharp because I view it as a creative and fun design. Anyway, I don't view water as sharp.
I've got to try to be more playful! |

I had never seen this pod and I, too, think it's beautiful and unique. The upper little stem appear to wear a bonnet. You mentioned that the you shot it on a black background; however, I like that the background shows more blueish than black. I would try focus stacking to get the entire pod in focus. I do think this subject can stand on its own because of its unique shape especially if it is a large print. |

I like the colors you brought out in this hydrangea I see the flower floating in the space but my eyes want to bring it down with a fragile ribbon or stem. Would I have the same feeling if the space was white?i think I would accept it better. |

I like the color of the leaves all in a row and the sun shining through them illuminating the patterns made by the "veins." I think the background is a little distracting. I would try darkening the white areas. |

I feel you have captured the spirit of this wild, perhaps old horse. In my opinion the image is sharp showing the detail of the hair, the spots on his nose and around his eye. The eye is at the crash point of the rule of thirds making the viewer connect with the horse. I like the angle of the head as he looks at you. I think the color of the texture mask does make the horse pop.
You might want to lighten the background around his head a little more.
