65 Dec 25 Comment Nice capture of this plant with the tiny purple flowers present. One thing that is puzzling me is why the insides of so many of the long leaves (if that's what they are considered) are white. I've seen these plants before and don't recall them having white on them. Do you know why that occurred? Dec 11th
65 Dec 25 Comment Beautiful flower with bold colors. You captured it well! I agree with the edits suggested, but I find the edges of some of the lower petals appealing, so I tried a little different crop to keep them in the frame. Happy Holidays! Dec 11th
65 Dec 25 Comment Your capture and post processing resulted in a clean, sharp documentary image of this flower. I like all of the movement in the petals. I think doing something with the background would compliment the flower better as it's currently rather stark. Just for fun, I played with this image first in Lightroom Classic to crop and increase the exposure on the petals a bit. Then, I took it into Topaz Studio 2 and added several filters to give it a somewhat painterly appearance, plus added a textured background and slight vignette. I wasn't trying to make a masterpiece, LOL, just throwing out ideas.

Sorry if I went a little crazy on your image, but it was fun for me. I'm not sure how this group feels about others playing with their images, so I apologize if I overstepped in any way.

65 Dec 25 Comment Wonderful frosty detail on this beautiful rose. You captured nice texture and the glimmer of the frost on the petals. I can feel the cold viewing this image. Dec 2nd
65 Dec 25 Comment I really like your subject matter and all of the texture and s on this dried leaf. Everything is sharp and your lighting brings out depth. I'm torn about your added background texture as I like the way the leaf stands out against the stark black of the original. I do like how the reflection is more subdued and kind of fades away in the final. I wonder if you just reduced the texture just behind the leaf a bit more if that would improve this in any way. Just a thought, but a really nice capture. Dec 2nd
