The changes are subtle, but I see them. I like the added glow effect.
As for singing - only in my mind, LOL. When I was younger I felt I could carry a tune okay but as I've gotten older the vocal chords don't seem to work as well. But I enjoy playing along with recordings of others singing. I play strictly for my own amusement. I'm definitely not a performer. |

I guess one thought might be that a viewer who is not a photographer, may not know what "Blue Hour" is or means. So changing it to "Kara J Headed Out" may make more sense. The person looking at this image might enjoy knowing the boats name as they view this peaceful scene. |

Since this was hanging on a wall I could not change the position. But, what initially caught my eye were the diagonal light streaks from the window juxtaposed against the vertical lines of the ukulele and it's shadow. So I would not have considered angling the ukulele. Appreciate your feedback! |

I think your title works just fine if you want to describe what you captured as a landscape photo. If you want to evoke more of a "feeling" about viewing this scene, then maybe a different title should be considered after a little different processing that makes this more ethereal and less documentary. And I'm not saying documentary as a negative, LOL, because this is well captured and nice to look at, plus the colors are very serene.
I agree that the rocks on the right seem to throw off the balance without rocks added on the left, as Georgianne suggested. If you wanted to enter this as a landscape, you probably need a balanced foreground, so that would do it. Plus the crop that was suggested to reduce some of the sky.
I made an example that goes in a little different direction. I made a crop that focused more on the boat and took the rocks out completely. I used the remove tool in Lightroom to take out a little of the rocks that were left after my crop. I placed the boat at the intersection of the bottom left of a rule of thirds grid, then also cropped a little bit from the left and more from the sky with the right top intersection touching a part of the bridge arch. I also removed the streak of dark matter floating in the water on the right. I think this still makes for a peaceful scene without the roughness of the rocks originally at the bottom. It think it puts your focus a little more on the fishing boat and it's light reflections in the water. Just some food for thought. |

Very nice abstract image. It made me pause and really look at it. Like Georgianne, I feel like I'm either looking through glass or at a reflection. Or maybe at a computer screen that has gone "glitchy", LOL. The color tones pick up the color of his clothes and backpack.
Just to see this a little differently, I masked the white streaks and brought down the whites and highlights a bit then cropped the image from the bottom to draw my eye more into it rather than scanning the length of the rectangle. Not sure if this improves anything, but just gives a different POV. Very creative outcome. |

What a creative image Mary! All of your planning and thought made for a successful photo in my opinion. The color tones do give me a feeling of being in a dimly lit, spooky environment. The motion blur in his hands and the book gives a sense of it being alive as a spirit breaks out of the book. I'm not sure if darkening the book just a little would improve the image or not, but I actually like the additional haze you added as I feel it adds to the suggestion of a spirit starting to encompass your husband. Very nice! |

I really like your image composition and post processing decisions. This is lovely and reminds me of something that would be printed on a vintage card. The subdued colors are well done and is an improvement over original 3 in my opinion. Very nice! |

I find this to be a lovely, peaceful image. Your crop improved the composition and the conversion to mono was a good decision in my opinion. It reduced the presence of the buildings, which I think works well. I also really like all of the layers you captured with the various pops of trees poking through the mist. Nicely seen and post-processed. |
