Thanks for your feedback Connie. Maybe I should change the title to Forest Friends, LOL. I also liked how they were somewhat cuddled together. They went through numerous changes as they matured, but this shape was my favorite. |

This is a lovely image to look at Linda. Your crop and other post-processing really improved the composition, color tones and textures, and balanced out the group of birds well, in my opinion. You can feel what a beautiful day it was.
Nice job! |

Love this minimalistic image Jan. Your lighting and composition makes this really nice and somewhat soothing to look at.
I kind of agree with Linda's comment that the image might be improved if orientation was "flipped" BUT the egg would also need to be turned if you did that, in my opinion. Viewing the egg having the small end on the left growing to the rounder, taller end on the right, just feels "right" to me. However, I really like it as is as well.

What an interesting image of a unique sporting event! Trying to think from the perspective of the people wanting this photo, I think you've done a really nice job of post processing. It's a dirty, "gritty" event, so converting to B & W with a grainy texture seems to suit this subject matter, and would be appreciated by the drivers. And I'm sure the car is their pride and joy, so keeping that more in focus and leaving the parked spectators cars more hidden by the smoke yet slightly visible (as you've done), works well in my opinion.
I agree with Linda that putting a little more room in the front of the car might balance everything out a little more, but I think this will make the drivers very happy. Nice job! |

I think this image can stand alone very well without the light reflection. If you were wanting to emphasize a reflection of some sort because it added a different dimension or story to the overall image that's one thing. But I don't feel the addition of the hanging light fixture adds anything to elevate the image. It's a really nice capture of a sunset that's well composed and post processed, and visually appealing without the light. My only other suggestion would be to remove that little bit of branch that's jutting into the image on the left. |

I love the story this image tells Jodi. To me, capturing traveling through the winding road of life in a car or under our own power on a bicycle, was very serendipitous. And finding this shot in such a beautiful setting as well!
I like how you've cropped the image and the conversion to B & W really helps bring out the detail of the sky and mountains. I think everything in the image works well together. So to me, this elevates from a nice landscape photo to something that tells a deeper story. Great catch! |

I really like this image Carol. There is so much drama from the pose to the way you've added the overhead light streaks. The conversion to B & W really emphasizes that drama as well. You've blended away that back wall and shadows very nicely and the overall effect of your post-processing really elevates this image. |

Thanks for the visual feedback Linda. I do like the image with your changes, but I also liked how the tangled dried grasses gave it a little more "wild" look, if you know what I mean? So I'm torn on which I prefer, LOL.
