Thank you Witta. I did play with an off-center crop, but ended up preferring this. Your idea to stack them and change the opacity on top is interesting! I may try that next time I have some time to play!
Thanks for your comments! |

Thank you so much Georgianne. I like your suggestion for doing a grouping of small flowers to have a garden on the wall! |

Mary - I do experiment with different blend modes, but as I mentioned to Connie, I forgot to check and note the blend mode I settled on and didn't save it in Topaz to be able to double-check the settings! I'll be more diligent next time!
Thank you for your comment. |

Thank you Connie. I play and experiment so much when I'm adding layers that I don't think I can explain exactly how I got that result with the vignette. I also forgot to save the image in Topaz to keep the data on the setting for each layer, so can't go back to check what I did! |

Your composition is just lovely Linda. Your choice of texture really made this a work of art. I also like the suggestion and example of adding the orange from the flower back in. I feel that makes the image pop even more.
Great job Linda! |

I also felt it was a little dark around her belly and agree with others that reducing the shadows might help there. However, in my opinion, I felt the pose was a little awkward as well. I noticed you removed the fingers of her hand behind her as they probably looked a little off. But now I feel like she seems tense since her head and body aren't supported by anything. I wonder if you could do a composite to place a cushion behind her to hold her up so she looks more natural? I have never tried composites, so I can't give an example, but it's just a thought! |

This is a very touching composition. Your concept and subject matter are very nice. Like others have noted, I also feel both buds should be in focus since the main theme is about their relationship. So one should not fade from the other in my opinion. But you definitely captured an emotion here! |

Awesome result Witta. I love the repeating pattern of the sunflower outlines in the texture. I hope your friend appreciates all the work you've done to give her a beautiful piece of art for her home! |

I really enjoy this simple image and the edits you made. I also wanted a hint more detail of the stick and think that adds a bit more to the image.
Nicely captured! |

Sorry I'm late with the commenting as my free time has been limited recently.
I really like both images, but think I prefer the first. I enjoy how the flower is kind of emerging from the pink cloud. Really well done Michael. |
