Thank you so much Bill. I did print this one and entered it in a camera club contest. It got an honorable mention with tough competition, so I was very pleased! |

I'm torn about the darkening now that I see it. It does make the color stand out more, but it also seemed to accentuate the background more, which wasn't the point. So the lighter one may be the way to go! |

Perfect timing to get out there and capture these leaves. I love how the frost outlined each leaf. The colors are wonderful as well. Good eye seeing the potential here and great job getting the shot.
Carol's suggestions might be something to try as well, just to see if you like it better. But I agree, it's still a wonderful photo. |

Very pretty capture of this orchid and well done post processing! This is a beautiful flower with a nice soft feel to it without losing the pretty details. The composition is really nice with just the right amount of stem and leaves. You picked a great angle to include those features; plus that little bud on top!
I feel like the crop on the left may be a bit tight though. I wonder if you take it into Photoshop and use the crop tool with content aware checked, if you can stretch it out just a tad on that side. It may give you a little more breathing room.
Beautiful job! |

Very nice portrait of this lady bug Bill! I don't think I can say anything different than what Carol stated! I wonder if you darkened the background just a little bit, if the lady bug would stand out a little more. Just a thought, but regardless, a really nice capture! |
