Hi all,
Thanks for the feedback-I'm definitely planning to level up my color grading and correction in future videos.
Since I've already wrapped up all of this year's submissions (and even some for next year), I'd prefer not to revisit and redo them right now. That way, I can save time and focus on picking up new skills instead.
I really like Dick's suggestion for assigned storyline/group teamwork videos-it's a great idea! We could experiment with a couple of rounds per year. To make it work smoothly, it'd be best to build in plenty of lead time so everyone has enough space to prepare properly.

Hi Boskee,
This time you went with a 9:16 vertical format-perfect for shorts!
Right from the opening clips, the mirror reflection effect caught my eye and looked really cool. At first I thought it might be an unboxing or online shopping ad, but then the smooth action sequence pulled me right in. I loved how easy it was to follow your candy-picking process-no boring moments at all, the pacing kept me hooked the whole way through.
That said, I think the video could feel even more complete with a stronger ending. For example, showing the book on the table (maybe tying it into the story?), an empty box to show time passing, and a quick shot or comment about how much you enjoyed the candies and finished them off would give it nice closure.
Overall, really solid work-engaging, visually appealing, and fun to watch. Just a little more to wrap up the 'event' and it'll be even stronger! Keep it up!

Hi Dick,
Your video really extended and amplified those joyful holiday moments-thank you for capturing them so beautifully!
I especially loved how you started shooting before and after sunset while maintaining consistent exposure throughout. The colorful footage looks vibrant and well-balanced. Handholding the camera for such a long take definitely adds to the challenge, so kudos for pulling it off smoothly.
One small suggestion for future motion-heavy shots (particularly those with panning movements): shooting at 60 fps instead of 30 fps can make the motion look noticeably smoother and less jerky. It's a simple tweak that often helps a lot with handheld pans.
Overall, fantastic job-really well done!
By the way, I submitted my video to your email on January 9 and resent it a couple of times afterward. If you haven't received it yet, could you please check your junk/spam folder? I'd be happy to send it again if needed. Thanks so much!
